Faced with the new challenge of carbon neutrality in recent years, stamped parts manufacturers are being forced to transform their existing manufacturing processes to balance environmental concerns with economic benefits. Existing equipment and tools have become difficult to satisfy the requirements, and there is a strong demand for new support systems.
SEYI Servo Press has created an energy management system based on capacitors and servo motors specifically designed for stamping applications. The combination of these components has resulted in energy savings of more than 30 over the traditional mechanical press, and even more than 70 compared to hydraulic press. Also, SEYI provides an intelligent production management system, which can collect operating data from existing press equipment, to reduce operators effort and provide guidelines for improving the users production process.
This article describes the energy-saving mechanism and effects of SEYI servo presses, and summarizes how environmental issues and economic benefits can be reconciled by using a smart production management system.
